Electricians are you certified yet? Pass the California electrical certification exam this year. If you are an electrician with at least 4 years of experience, you quality to sit for the exam. The Contractors State License Board can now enforce the law and penalize contractors who do not comply.

If you are an electrician working for a C-10 contractor, you must be certified. I offer electrical training classes that teach you how and what to study for the CA Certification Exam. After passing your name will be listed on the website of the Division and Apprenticeship Standards.

I developed this site to help electricians overcome the anxiety created by the new state law and to ultimately pass the CA certification exam. While it is difficult to know when the state will begin to enforce the certification requirements, you can know exactly when to prepare yourselves --- and the time is now.

There are many excellent training programs available on-line and off-line. There are an equal number of publications, books, and study guides available to help the electrician to pass the exam. However, I believe my methods are unique and more effective for several reasons:

First, we spend our time focusing specifically on how to use the NEC codebook in an effective and quick manner. This skill is absolutely necessary if you are to answer the exam questions without guessing and within the allotted time.

Second, our class sizes are small and personalized. This feature affords me the ability to customize the training based on individual needs. I am aware that everyone learns differently and that each student has different skill levels. With limited students, I can give more time and attention to students and at the same time track their progress.

Finally, meeting regularly for several weeks builds good study habits and creates accountability. In my opinion, it is impossible to learn how to use the code book in a weekend. It simply takes practice. My training not only provides time to practice in class, but also plenty of independent study too.
